The Fork is a popular app for making reservations at local restaurants and finding discounts that can be applied to them. The interface is very straightforward and guides users quickly through the steps to secure a booking.

This activity was completed as a preliminary assignment for the UX/UI programme at Ironhack, Barcelona.

Looking Back

Overall I found the user journey through The Fork to be very straight-forward. I liked the use of a status bar at the top of each section of the reservation process to let the user know how close they were to the end of booking. There is a lot of choice for restaurants and I also like the use of small sections, each with a carousel and more button that allows the user to browse quickly or jump in to more in-depth information.
